Salary: $18-$20 per hour

Who we are : Velocity International Group is a logistics company based in Nashville, TN providing specialized services to professional businesses. Same day delivery, warehousing storage, fulfillment and distribution are among the services we offer our customers. We are primarily B2B and offer professional, white glove and dedicated services to customers throughout the middle TN area. Who you are : Someone who enjoys working with a family owned company. You are over 23, have a strong work ethic, believe in open communication and mutual respect. You are a reliable and skilled driver with a positive attitude. You have a flexible schedule Monday through Friday, and are open to occasionally doing other runs as needed.

What the job is : Dedicated Monday thru Friday route in a sprinter van for local and out of town expedited deliveries. We have two available and they won't last long! These are both 40+ hour per week routes and packages are less than 5lbs each! Full route is around 40-50 stops per day.

• report to headquarters to receive routing information, keys to vehicle and load parcel onto vehicle in an orderly fashion
• safely drive to routed destinations utilizing mobile software
  
• have excellent communication skills and respectfully follow instructions from the company dispatcher
• treat customers in a friendly, professional manner while maintaining a safe and non contact delivery

The skills needed to be successful are :

• must be proficient with GPS and other navigation applications and familiar with the middle TN area
• able to lift up to 25 pounds and maneuver in and out of the van efficiently and safely.
• skilled at driving in inclement weather and heavy traffic. Employment subject to MVR check for insurance approval.
  
• able to communicate openly and honestly with management.

• flexibility in scheduling, ability to take direction.

Requirements are :

• Pass a drug screening and a background check
• MUST have a valid driver’s license with an F endorsement
• MUST be a safe driver and have a clean MVR (motor vehicle record)
• Must provide previous 3 years employment history
