ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Greets arriving and departing guests, opens passenger door(s), and offers assistance if appropriate according to established procedures.
- Provides clear and complete instruction to customers utilizing valet services on how to reclaim their vehicle.
- Assists with transportation of baggage and personal belongings as needed.
- Ensures the cleanliness of the interior of each customer's vehicle is maintained.
- Parks and retrieves customer vehicles in specified areas in a safe and efficient manner.
- Provides safe, friendly, and courteous shuttle services for guests and employees.
- Greets and informs customers of shuttle services and thanks customers for their patronage.
- Responds to questions from guests in a helpful, courteous, and pleasant manner.
- Transports and delivers passengers to legal authorized parking and loading areas.
- Performs deliveries between casinos as required or requested.
- Ensures shuttle vehicles are clean at all times.
- Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities. Exercises extreme caution at all times while operating shuttle vehicles or while parking and retrieving customer vehicles.
- Maintains awareness of circumstances at all times to evaluate the need for increased security or safety measures. Keeps the supervisor informed of any concerns.
- Develops and maintains effective working relationships and good customer service skills with all guests and employees.
- Performs general vehicle maintenance.
- Wears and maintains all uniforms properly, including nametag. Must wear a gaming license if in possession of one.
- Regular and reliable attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position. Employees are expected to be punctual and consistently present during their scheduled work hours to ensure the effective and efficient operation of the business.
- Performs duties in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and internal policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties and assists other departments, as needed and directed.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrated experience operating various passenger vehicles. Demonstrated effective and diplomatic customer service and communication skills, which includes contacts with employees and guests, preferably within a gaming or hospitality environment. Must be a minimum of 21 years of age with a good driving record.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or equivalent. One (1) or more years of recent and related experience is preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
REASONING ABILITY: No decision making is required beyond scope of essential duties.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Driver License with a good driving record.
OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES: Must exhibit excellent customer service skills.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Essential duties involve performing physical exertion, including frequent brisk walking, climbing stairs, stooping, bending, stretching, reaching, pushing, and standing for an entire work shift with standard breaks. Ability to perform general vehicle maintenance, including washing, vacuuming, and snow removal from exterior of vehicles. Essential duties include performing continuous physical activity of driving an established route between casinos, lifting up to 30 pounds, and working any day of the week, any shift of the day.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Essential duties involve working with large numbers of people while in an inside environment which may contain loud noise levels. Essential duties involve working outside during adverse and quickly changing weather conditions including wind, rain, snow, cold, heat, and fumes from vehicle exhaust.
MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT DIRECTLY USED: Various automotive equipment including tire jacks, tires, and starter cables. Use of cleaning supplies, snow removal equipment, and communication devices such as two-way radios and cell phones.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$14.50+ based on experience plus gratuities.
