Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a  Travel - SLP - Inpatient Rehab

Shift : Days / 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40 hrs per week,  No on call, no float, no weekends

Length : 13 Weeks

• IL license
• 2 years' experience
• Skills/Experience REQUIRED: Dysarthria; Dysphagia; Tracheostomy; Voice; Bedside Swallow Evaluation; Conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies; Interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies; Signs & Symptoms of Physical, Sexual, Psychological abuse; Patient/Family Education; Assessment; Discharge; Evaluation; Point of Service Documentation; Reassessments; Young/Middle/Older adult cases
• AHA BLS
• 5 years' experience preferred
• Skills/Experience Preferred: Acute Care; Adult Outpatient; CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident); Layngectomy; Augmentative Communication; Conducting Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluations of Swallow (FEES); International Dysphagia Diet; Interpreting FEES; Laryngectomy; Modifying Diet Orders; Myofascial Release/Manual Therapy; Passy Muir Valves; Trach/Vent; Voice Prothesis; BAE (Boston Aphasia Evaluation); WAB (Western Aphasia Battery); Medicaid; Medicare A; Medicare B; Point of Service Documentation; SLP Evaluation Coding

SLP for hybrid inpatient/outpatient role. 5x8s, Days, 0800-1630. No on call, no float, no weekends. Oncology-based: head/neck oncology, i.e., tracheostomy care and laryngectomy care. Unit generally has a moderate pace, but fluxuates. Modified barium swallow study commonly performed. Primarily cognitive, language, speech, voice assessment and treatments.

2 years experience REQUIRED, 5 preferred. 1st time traveler OK. ~80hr orientation with ~72hr on floor. Wine colored scrubs (not provided). EPIC documentation.

Certifications REQUIRED: BLS (AHA only, no HeartCode); State SLP license in hand

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.

Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
