JOB SUMMARY Keystone Management is searching for an experienced Boiler Operator to work at a healthcare facility in the Atlanta area. The job task will include but not limited to performing predictive, preventative and emergency maintenance and repairs to all operating systems and their support auxiliaries. Also, maintain legal records for biocide and equipment usage (oxygen, chemical, and fuel oil inventories).
This individual will perform preventive maintenance inspections and repairs while ensuring standards with applicable laws, NAPA codes and regulations are met. In addition, the individual will perform other necessary repairs, maintenance, restoration, and placement of various components of the physical structure of buildings and shop equipment as needed.
Location: Grady Hospital Shift: 7 AM - 3:30 PM Monday thru Friday
(Flexibility to work weekends as needed.)
Hourly Wage: $31.00 - $34.00 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Excellent steam boiler troubleshooting and repair skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instructions, blueprints, etc.
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Very good communication skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule due to a 24-hour operation of the area (Steam Plant).
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES/LEVEL OF SUPERVISION - This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EDUCATION - Associate degree (Technical Diploma) or 2 years of college coursework in Boiler Operations or Stationary Engineering
- 2+ years of job-related experience in the commercial industry
- Experience in boiler plants and water tube boilers is preferred
- Power Engineer License preferred
- Maintain boiler operator's license preferred
- Knowledge of all equipment related to steam plant technology is required
- Experience performing preventative maintenance (PM’s) on equipment
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
- Detail oriented
- HS Diploma or Equivalent
WORKING CONDITIONS, TRAVEL, PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, with additional hours needed to address the needs of the customer.
