A-Line is now hiring a Social Worker (LMSW) in Southgate, MI. The Social Worker would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential. This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Social Worker Compensation

• Pay is dependent on Licensing and Experience
• Full License: Hourly $27.78 - $37.58 Salary $54,171 - $73,281
• Limited License: Hourly $25.65 - $35.21 Salary $50,017.50 - $68,659.50
• Travel: Mileage Reimbursement when personal vehicle used - IRS standard. .64 per mile
• Any training paid for.
• Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance. 401K. PTO.
• Paid holidays include: New Years Eve and New Years Day, Martin Luther King Day, ½ day for Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and the day after (Black Friday), Christmas eve and Christmas Day.

Social Worker Highlights

• Direct hire with the facility.
• Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8:30am to 7pm and Friday 8:30am to 5pm. Evening hours will be required and determined based on program needs.

Social Worker Responsibilities

• The Adult Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for maintaining a caseload consisting of clients with a primary mental health and/or co-occurring substance abuse diagnosis. A typical case load is around 50 active cases.
• The therapist is required to conduct intake assessments, to maintain the case record in a timely fashion, to complete authorizations with various funding sources in a timely manner as required, and to conduct appropriate treatment services based on medical necessity.
• Primary responsibility is to participate in the delivery of clinical services, including intake evaluations, and direct treatment for adults and families.
• Assess and document the needs of clients who present themselves for outpatient mental health and/or co-occurring substance abuse services utilizing Person-Centered Planning principals.
• Provide individual and group therapy.
• Work collaboratively with others in relation to the client and family including psychiatrists, primary care physicians, school personnel and other family service or support people.
• Must meet all of the contractual requirements of the funding sources and/or agency, including maintaining State licensure.
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings and case consultations.
• Complete clinical records and agency documentation in a timely manner consistent with policies and procedures of the Guidance Center.
• Follow a professional code of ethics.
• Coordinate effective discharge planning prior to case closure.
• Complete 24 hours of training in the treatment of adults with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders.
• Other duties as needed.

Social Worker Requirements

• Need to have a masters' degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling and possess the corresponding State of Michigan licensure.
