A well-established Electronic Engineering and Manufacturing company that specializes in Circuit Card Assembly, integration, and test is looking for a Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Process Engineer to join their team in the Seymour, CT office. The SMT Process Engineer will work with other engineers, internally and with the customer, and will be responsible for preparing, implementing and monitoring the processes of SMT equipment including programming printers, SPI, pick and place, reflow oven and AOI. They may need to debug and reflow oven profiles, inspect solder using J STD and class 1-3 IPC standards, and review 2D and 5DX xray images. They will write pre and post build DFM reports, and program label creation/Barcodes.
