Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Review and analyze title searches and legal descriptions of properties to ensure the validity of titles.
2. Prepare and review legal documents such as deeds, mortgages, leases, and contracts.
3. Provide legal advice to clients on matters related to real estate transactions, including title processing, mortgages, closings, and lender-borrower relationships.
4. Coordinate with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure smooth real estate transactions.
5. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, if necessary.
6. Conduct negotiations on behalf of clients to resolve disputes related to real estate transactions.
7. Stay updated with the latest legal developments and changes in real estate law.
8. Conduct legal research and analysis to provide the most accurate advice and solutions to clients.
9. Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies for complex legal issues.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
2. Active license to practice law in the state.
3. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Real Estate Attorney or in a similar role.
4. Extensive knowledge of real estate law, including title processing, mortgage, closings, borrower, and lender issues.
5. Proven experience in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
6. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
7. Strong analytical skills and the ability to handle complex legal issues.
8. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Strong commitment to professional ethics and client confidentiality.
