The Wanderers Club is a casual, multi-generational private golf and country club in the heart of the equestrian community of Wellington, Florida. The Club's full array of amenities and services are centered around families, sports and the equestrian lifestyle found only in Wellington. We serve a vibrant community of over 500 member families in areas ranging from golf, racquet, and swimming to childcare, events, and dining.

OVERVIEW

The Locker Room/Pool Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests in the Locker Room and Pool areas. The ideal candidate will have prior service experience and possess a blend of customer service, casual food service, and basic housekeeping skills. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Requirements

POOL ATTENDANT DUTIES

•Greet each member and guest in the Locker Room area by name if possible.

•Provide service, supplies, and information to members and guests as needed.

•Communicate with other departments (Golf, Racquets, Food & Beverage, Kid's Club, Housekeeping) to meet the needs of members and guests.

•Welcome each member and guest to the Pool area; offer towels, water, menus, and other necessary items.

•Take food and beverage orders, input them into the point of sale system (Jonas), and deliver them promptly.

•Prepare and serve basic drinks at the bar.

•Maintain a clean and organized bar and service area.

•Process credit card and house account payments.

•Enforce pool rules of conduct.

•Straighten the pool and cabana areas at the end of the day.

LOCKER ROOM DUTIES

•Restock supplies in the Locker Room, including those for showering, shaving, and personal care.

•Keep Locker Rooms clean, including mirrors, walls, sink basins, and common areas.

•Perform regular maintenance checks on the sauna and cold plunge tubs.

•Clean golf shoes as requested.

•Communicate the need to reorder supplies as necessary.

•Organize pool chairs and towels; roll and stock towels in all areas throughout the shift.

•Open and close umbrellas as needed.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

•Bartending skills are preferred

•Experience with our point of sale system (Jonas) is a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

•Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job, including frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.

•Frequent repetitive motions.

•Continuous standing and walking.

•Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 30 pounds.
