About the Jr. Blog Writer position:

The Jr. Blog Writer works with the Content Lead and is there as a support person to help oversee all content-related needs and deliverables for the client base. In most cases, the Content Lead will delegate to the Jr. Blog Writer as needed.

Job Duties

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality blog posts, articles, and other content formats that align with our clients' target audience.
  • AI Usage: Use high-quality, strategic prompts to implement AI into the content development process.
  • Research: Conduct in-depth research on industry trends, competitors, and target audience preferences to inform content development.
  • Keyword Optimization: Incorporate relevant keywords and SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
  • Editing and Proofreading: Ensure all content is well-written, grammatically correct, and free of errors.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to develop content and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Skills Required

  • Quality Portfolio : Show samples that demonstrate expertise in a particular field.
  • Technical Proficiency: Use AI and other tools to increase the quality of content and speed at which it's done.
  • Marketing Knowledge: Understand marketing and the strategic side of content development to ensure the success of client campaigns.
  • Experience in Health & Wellness Content : Many of our clients are mental health care professionals. Knowledge in this area and a willingness to learn about this growing industry is preferred.
  • Excellent Writing Skills: Strong ability to write clearly, concisely, and engagingly.
  • SEO Knowledge: Understanding of SEO principles and best practices. Knowledge of how to use tools such as SEMrush, Surfer SEO, or Clearscope is preferred.
  • Research Skills: Ability to conduct thorough research and gather relevant information.
  • Creativity: Ability to think outside the box and generate innovative content ideas.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Time Management: Effective time management skills to prioritize multiple tasks meet deadlines.

Additional Duties

  • Analytics Tracking: Monitor website analytics to measure content performance and make data-driven recommendations.

Benefits & Wages:

We offer quarterly profit sharing, flexible work hours, Flex Fridays, unlimited PTO, 401k plans with employer matching, as well as medical, dental, and vision insurance. This job pays between $40,000-$45,000 depending on experience plus benefits.
