We are currently seeking a seasoned Family Law Attorney to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to handle a diverse range of family law cases. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, child support, and alimony. You will be expected to represent clients in court hearings, conduct legal research, and provide sound legal advice. This role requires a high level of professionalism, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
1. Representing clients in family court proceedings, including divorce, child custody, and support hearings.
2. Conducting legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating legal documents such as separation agreements, prenuptial agreements, and parenting plans.
4. Advising clients on their legal rights and obligations regarding family law matters.
5. Collaborating with our legal team to develop effective case strategies and ensure client satisfaction.
6. Keeping clients informed of case progress and managing their expectations regarding outcomes.
7. Participating in continuing legal education to stay updated on changes in family law.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience in family law practice.
3. Current license to practice law in the state.
4. Proven experience representing clients in court hearings.
5. Solid knowledge of family law, including child custody and support issues.
6. Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
7. Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
9. Ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism and composure.
10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-focused approach.
