Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal representation to clients in family law matters, including but not limited to divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, property division, and domestic violence cases.
• Conduct client interviews to gather case-related information, understand their legal needs, and provide appropriate advice.
• Develop strong case strategies tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and agreements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and negotiations.
• Collaborate with our paralegal team to prepare for trials and hearings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law developments and trends.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
• Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Family Law Attorney.
• Admission to the State Bar.
• Proven experience in child support, family law, and paralegal work.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, and other members of the legal community.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
• Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with court procedures and rules in family law matters.
