About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Creative Director (ECD) with a proven track record in translating marketing and communications strategies into compelling creative concepts. The ECD will be responsible for leading and managing a creative team, including designers, writers, editors, video producers, and photographers, to ensure high-quality output across various platforms. This role demands an individual with exceptional leadership skills, a strong background in audience segmentation, and storytelling, and at least 10 years' of experience in design, brand development, and multimedia leadership. The successful candidate will be a strategic visionary, guiding the creative process from concept to execution and maintaining a unified brand identity across all deliverables. They will also be expected to stay ahead of creative and technical trends, innovate with new techniques, and provide insights to senior leadership to inform brand strategy. Applicants for the ECD position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for candidates with an MFA. The role requires extensive hands-on experience in conceptualizing and directing creative for marketing campaigns, as well as a deep understanding of marketing trends and modern marketing technology. The ECD will be the strategic leader for the creative team, partnering with colleagues in university relations, and external partners to ensure that the creative work aligns with the brand architecture and enhances the company's reputation. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships are essential.
