The Director of Executive Protection will help oversee the safety and transportation of our ownership. This position will be directly involved with developing, reviewing, and revising security policies, procedures, and modules for our ownership. Daily, the Director of Executive Protection will ensure the safety and security of our ownership group and their corporate offices.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Security detail may include, but not limited to, the following:
  • Travel coordination for ownership and other special guests.
  • Pre-trip planning or organizing with all involved parties.
  • Route selection to venues and in-venue movements.
  • Site security surveys of future or proposed venue visits.
  • Facilitating the safe and seamless pick-up and drop-off of ownership and special dignitaries
  • Create strategic plans to establish relationships with local law enforcement, security officers, and other related entities.
  • Research and communicate vulnerabilities or safety concerns in a timely manner and coordinate with local law enforcement when needed.
  • Complete reports related to suspicious activity and provide incident reports as needed to ensure the leadership team is appropriately informed of any necessary information.
  • Assist in inspecting transport vehicles for safety.
  • Operate and ensure proper function of protective and communications equipment such as CCTV cameras, radios, etc.
  • Create a plan and make recommendations to implement a security plan across all physical spaces.
  • Promptly identify and escalate deficiencies/failures of security plans and safety protocols to the Vice President of Security.
  • Screen incoming fan mail for threatening substances, threatening or inappropriate language, or other concerning contents, escalating and addressing issues as needed.
  • Assist with team and facility operations as needed, including performing ad-hoc tasks around the office.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Extensive knowledge in security detail of high profile clients
  • Many years of experience in a security and safety background
  • Experience in establishing and implementing security protocols
  • Quickly adaptable with a proactive approach to safety and security
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • This person must be able to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
  • This person must be able to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess
  • This person must be able to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
  • This person must be able to lift 20 lbs
