We are offering a contract for a Developer/Software Engineer role in Orlando, Florida. This role involves the design, development, unit testing, and problem resolution of an enterprise platform solution for Supply Chain functionality. The successful candidate will work in a team setting, partnering with other developers to conceive and design solutions for both software enhancements and new functionality.

Responsibilities:
• Designing and developing software enhancements and new functionalities using Java and the Spring Boot framework.
• Utilizing modern software development paradigms such as GitLab, Splunk, CI/CD, GCP, and agile methodologies.
• Interacting with MongoDB and leveraging GKE deployments within GCP.
• Working across multiple teams and coordinating technical solutions in a larger workstream.
• Processing and accurately maintaining customer credit applications and records.
• Resolving customer inquiries efficiently.
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions.
• Implementing JSON messaging and Pub/Sub design.
• Using development tools such as Eclipse, Gitlab, CI/CD, Maven, Jenkins.
• Managing time effectively and handling virtual teams across various sites including onsite, offshore, and nearshore.
• Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exhibiting a problem-solving mindset to research and propose solutions for design and technical challenges.• Possess strong research skills for identifying software development needs and solutions
• Ensure quality assurance in all aspects of software development
• Exhibit proficiency in software design and architecture
• Understand logistics and supply chain management as it relates to software development
• Demonstrate ability to design and manage websites
• Show expertise in software implementation and deployment
• Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Display exceptional time management skills for delivering projects on schedule
• Possess advanced skills in Java programming
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies for software development
• Experience in component selection for software development projects
• Proficiency in using GitHub for version control and code sharing
• Understand REST API principles for developing scalable and efficient applications
• Familiarity with various software frameworks
• Degree in Computer Sciences or related field
• Experience with onsite and offshore software deployments
• Knowledge of ERP solutions for business processes
• Ability to enhance existing software to meet evolving user requirements
• Proven experience in software development projects
• Familiarity with JSON for data interchange
• Experience with MongoDB for database management
