Job Title : Detailing Garage Manager

Location : 11900 Carpenter Rd, Milan, MI 48160 

Schedule : Full time - Onsite

Job Overview : We are seeking a meticulous and organized Detailing Garage Manager to oversee the operations of our automotive detailing facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cars, exceptional managerial skills, and a keen eye for detail. They will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of vehicle detailing, managing a team of detailers, and overseeing day-to-day operations to maintain efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and lead a team of detailers, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure quality workmanship and productivity.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for vehicle detailing processes to maintain consistency and efficiency.
• Manage scheduling, including assigning tasks, coordinating workflow, and ensuring timely completion of projects.
• Monitor inventory levels of detailing supplies and equipment, and coordinate orders as needed to maintain sufficient stock levels.
• Conduct quality inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to company standards and customer expectations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Handle customer inquiries, provide estimates, and address any concerns or issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to promote detailing services and maximize revenue opportunities.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, new products, and techniques to continuously improve the quality of detailing services offered.
• Perform administrative tasks, such as record-keeping, payroll processing, and budget management.

Requirements :

• Proven experience in automotive detailing, with a strong understanding of detailing techniques, products, and equipment.
• Previous managerial or supervisory experience, preferably in a similar automotive or service industry role.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office, and experience with scheduling software is a plus.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to automotive detailing operations.
• Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours as needed, depending on business demands.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in automotive detailing or management is advantageous.
