WHO we're looking for: We are looking for a Communications Manager - Carrier Marketing who will be responsible for the management and administration of developing, coordinating and implementing marketing strategies for the Carrier account team. We're looking for a best in class Manager, one with strong communications skills, a can-do attitude and a passion to learn and be a part of a high performance account marketing team. To be successful, you will have experience managing and developing marketing communication programs, preferably in the mobile telecommunication field. You will possess leadership skills to own and drive your responsibilities to successful completion with optimal results. You will be adaptive, a good listener, able to work in a fast-paced environment collaborating with your cross functional colleagues. You will report to the Director of Marketing.
You will champion mobile products and work closely with your fellow marketing colleagues to help build and manage marketing programs that support product launches in our customer's retail channels and sell out of those products. You will bring your passion and creative thinking to improve our go-to-market processes and better our digital, CRM, loyalty, retail and local marketing programs. You will be entrusted with customer communication.
Our ideal candidate will have an education in marketing and an understanding of product-marketing as it relates to a retail based business. You will possess knowledge about the mobile industry, mobile products and the carriers and their networks. You will have working knowledge of principals that drive business such as budget management, supply and demand, price and promotion and performance and analysis.
As a Communications Manager, you will be a valued member of the marketing and account team. You will have an invaluable experience, developing your marketing skills in the fast paced mobile industry working for one of the most innovative brands in the world while serving the most dynamic carrier in the world.
Role and Responsibilities: - Be a positive, cooperative and proactive contributing member of the Carrier account marketing team.
- Manage and lead weekly Go-to-Market (GTM) readiness meetings for all new product launches.
- Manage and lead launch day reporting in partnership with category managers for all product launches.
- Manage and lead account led paid media strategy and execution with channel marketing team.
- Manage demand gen marketing programs in partnership with Carrier customer to drive awareness of new products and drive revenue growth.
- Partner with your sales team to build and manage local marketing programs in opportunity markets to drive revenue growth.
- Work with Sales, Product Management and Carriers to ensure revenue and profit goals are achieved.
- Work with business planning and finance partners to secure funding for new marketing programs including new program setup within business systems.
- Help coordinate return on investment analysis on marketing programs with business planning and finance partners.
- Contribute to PowerPoint slide preparation for marketing and product launch storytelling.
Required Experience and Education: - 5-7 years' experience working in advertising, product marketing or channel marketing function serving a sales organization.
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Marketing from an accredited college or university.
- Experience in the mobile telecom industry a plus.
- Proven experience building and managing marketing programs that drive sales growth.
- Proven experience leading meetings, organizing people and processes.
- Experience with Adobe Acrobat preferred.

- Must be able to write, read, analyze, interpret, present, and explain mobile device technical product specifications when needed.
- Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all appropriate levels within and outside the company.
- Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple assignments and projects.
- Ability to read and interpret marketing documents, media materials, and contracts (or related documents) based on corporate legal and marketing standards and philosophy.
- Polished and effective verbal and written skills. Demonstrated competency in both oral and written communication modes for internal and external personnel at all levels, especially in the sales and marketing, logistical, or financial areas of clients, prospects, and company.
- Superior level of collateral development and project management skills, including the ability to prepare written plans and schedules, identify objectives, create promotional materials, coordinate and direct project teams, manage creative developers, select and control printing and production resources, and manage budgets.

Requires considerable (90%+) work utilizing high visual acuity/detail, numeric/character distinction, and moderate hand/finger dexterity.
Performs work under time schedules and stress which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive deadlines, intellectual challenge, some language barriers, and project management deadlines. May require working additional time beyond normal schedule and periodic travel.
