McGovern Automotive Group is looking for a Parts Advisor to join our Maserati & Alfa Romeo Boston Motorsports

The Parts Advisor is the key contact for part sales to customers (both retail and wholesale), technicians, as well as working in partnership with the Sales department and all Service personnel.

As a parts consultant you'll stay active, work independently, and be part of a team-oriented environment!

Responsibilities:

• Collects payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization as necessary
• Maintains inventory of parts and shop materials daily to ensure that stock remains filled and locates out-of-stock parts or shop materials when needed
• Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
• Verifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required.
• Maintain records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special-order parts
• Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick up

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an automotive parts department preferred
• Maintains core knowledge of products and product updates
• Displays customer relationship and interpersonal skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Is team-oriented with a desire to achieve both individual and collective goals
• Able to pass background and drug screenings
