Key Responsibilities:

• Instrument Monitoring: Regularly read and monitor instruments to ensure boiler systems are functioning correctly.
• Boiler Modulation: Ensure boilers are modulating properly by observing and adjusting controls as needed.
• Water and Air Quality Checks: Monitor water levels in sight glasses and ensure air quality meets operational standards.
• Tank Maintenance: Keep tanks filled and maintained to ensure smooth operation.
• Troubleshooting Support: Assist with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues as they arise.
• Data Logging: Observe and record readings from gauges, compare data, and maintain accurate logs of system performance.
• Physical Activity: Perform duties that require extensive walking and light physical labor.
• Training and Certification: Complete a 3-day certification class provided by Darling to gain the necessary skills and knowledge for the role.

Qualifications:

• No prior certification required; must be willing to complete the provided training program.
• Ability to read gauges and maintain detailed logs.
• Comfortable with physical activity, including walking and light mechanical work.
• Background in carpentry, concrete work, or similar trades is a plus.
