Position Summary

Assist and support legal assistants in processing bond documents for submission to the Texas Attorney General’s office and managing bond closing transcripts.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and manage electronic bond transcripts.
- Organize, proofread, and compile transcripts and documents.
- Alert legal assistants about incomplete transcripts.
- Upload and distribute documents on file-sharing sites.
- Draft exchange bonds, specimen bonds, and transmittal letters.
- Enter disclosure information into Excel.
- Follow up on pending items and handle other tasks as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong proofreading and document editing skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on grammar and spelling.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with strict attention to detail and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Adobe, Dropbox, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Requirements

- Associate’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Professional demeanor and ability to prioritize work effectively.
